What is WFP Window Cleaning?
Cleaning windows with a water fed pole (WFP) uses purified water pumped to the brush at the end of a long extendable pole. The brush is used to agitate dust, debris, and other contaminants on your windows before getting rinsed with the purified water.
The purified water comes from a reverse osmosis (RO) filtration system, which contains three parts; carbon filter, RO membrane, and a deionization resin (DI). The carbon filter removes chlorine to prevent damage to the RO membrane. The RO membrane removes roughly 95% of the remaining contaminants, then the DI removes the remaining.
Edmonton’s water needs to be filtered for window cleaning to prevent water marks left on windows after it’s rinsed. When you see Capt. Clean washing your windows, feel free to ask us about our purifications systems used to clean your windows.
